The way seems too long,
When you are not beside me.

Walking hand in hand with you
Upon the way of this lonely life,
I cannot think it otherwise.

We don't want to be like the day and night,
One comes only when the other passes away,
We don't want to be like the sun and moon,
One rises only when the other sets down,

We just want to be like the flower and its fragrance,
We just want to be like the body and its soul,
If you take the one and the other lost.

Upon the banner of my soul,
One name is written so deeply that
None can erase it from there
Without erasing the soul itself.
