Upon The Cross Poem by Connie L. Burchett

Upon The Cross

Rating: 5.0

When I look upon the cross
this is what I see; the lamb
of GOD who came and died for me.

Even Though I scorned and mocked
HIS name; HE still gave His live for me.
It my my sins and transgressions that
nailed HIM there.

HIS body was broken; HIS blood ran
free while HE hung upon that cross;
with tears in HIS eyes and HIS arms
stretched wide HE said 'Come unto me.'

HE paid the price and HE gave HIS all
as HE hung upon that cross;
do you know? HE did this all for me.

He gave his life for me, not he gave his live for me! :) get it? :) A great poem, otherwise, eh? :) I'd have to give it a ten, I'd have to say! :) Michael Gale. I'm going to vote it a ten! :)

Nice poem, but the words need to be changed! :) The whole second verse needs to be reworded! It should read He gave His life to Me, not he gave his live, for me! :) See, your wording sounds improper, no? :) also, it's not It My my sins, it should read as it is my sins get it? :) Other wise it is an awesome write, Don't You think? :) Please have a nice day! Connie L. Burchett! :) I absolutely hate autocorrect, Don't You? :) Please have a very happy day! Michael Gale.
