Upon The Heavy Breaths - Poem by Lama Abbas
Upon the heavy breaths
Dance the slow music
And unknowingly soul slips into infinite eternity
An encounter which is
Neither as bright as mortal charm
Nor as divine as the immortal secret
Neither as lively as a melody
Nor as serenely pure as the silence
It was something beyond the beyond
That touched the depths of my soul
Magnifying it and taking it high
Where there is no descend
But a flight to the Ultimate...
To the Supreme....
It was a moment of peace
Bird of love stretching its wings to the farthest corner
It was an encounter with my own self
So huge...so divine...
Know I so little
About the world of worlds that lay within me...
