Us In The Rain

Running in the rain,

Laughing at the wind.

I sit back and smile

I see you again.

Our hair soaking wet,

still going wild

No thunder yet

All i see is my child.

An angel of laughter

a soldier of tears.

A smile on her face

that all wish to be near.

I played in the rain

with an angel tonight

and when she said Momma

everything was alright.
