Valentine help me,
A soul solitary
Assist me to see,
A love extraordinary
Allay worry to rest,
Love's patron of old
Help me care on lest,
I hurt one I wish to hold
Adjoin lovers lips,
At risk of the death of flesh
The agony that rips,
Would not tear me afresh
Awake this heart dormant,
So it could love to no end
Elation so inherent,
In joy we should amend
Leave all where it lies,
As to she I would pay any fee
There I shouted, through the cries,
Valentine, help me!
