Valentines Day Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Valentines Day

No hearts of paper, red and bright,
No candy box, a sugar fight.
I don't need Valentine's decree,
To tell the love you mean to me.

Each morning's kiss, a gentle start,
The helping hand, a loving heart.
A listening ear, a knowing glance,
A quiet joy, a happy dance.

No roses bought, a costly show,
My love's a seed that starts to grow.
With patient care and sunshine free,
It blooms for you, eternally.

For love's not found in stores and trade,
But in the life that we have made.
A simple touch, a whispered word,
A love that's always felt and heard.

So let the calendar pages turn,
My daily love will always burn.
No special day, no fancy fee,
Just honest love, from me to thee.
