i back away
frightened by the fangs
hiding behind your lips
you coax me closer
i force myself to trust you
you hold your hand out to me
sensing the trust fill me
i place my hand in yours
you pull against you
i look into your eyes
you smile,
and your lips touch mine
and suddenly,
such sweet bliss
i relax in your arms
you whisper in my ear
such simple words
i love you
my angel
i smile calmly
and kiss you again
then you place me on the bed
i panic,
sensing what will happen next
you sense the fear and whisper
dont be afraid
you sing to me
i listen to your soothing voice
and fall asleep as you sing
