Vampire- Shall I Compare Thee Poem by Roxy Rionne

Vampire- Shall I Compare Thee

‘Shall I Compare Thee ’ (Vampire)

Shall I compare thee to a dark night?
Thou night more deadening and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the clear, black sky of the night
And winter’s lease is all too long a night
Sometime, too hot the eye of sunlight
And often the everlasting night rises
And everything rises, the pain, the twilight
Within you by hope or twilight’s changes lie deep within a full of meaning secrets unseen……
But the external life never fades or shall not die.
Nor lose possession of that death’s kiss as the deep, red blood flows.
Nor lose possession of that blood-sucking creature as the day shows the truth and denies me.
When in external life to stay young and have that cold beautiful face, days never grow.
So long as slayers can breathe or live or eyes that see my undying powers.
So long lives this endless life and this gives life and strength with human blood to me……..
