Vanessa Poem by Peitho Enthermos

Vanessa

I wish I could see what you see when you stare at her picture on your cracked phone's screen
Or wish I could feel the same stare if I would be seen

I can only be the most beautiful in your eyes
But who am I telling these lies?

You've uttered once you'll never find love unless it's her
And my problem is I am in love with you!

I wish I could see what you see, if lucky, you looked at me...
I wish I could be what you would wish if it's she...
I wish she's me.

But if I could grant you happiness... If I alone...
And if it's her, your happiness, that you call home...
If she is all your 'sana-sana'
I'll grant you for every wish--- I'll grant you a Vanessa.
