Vanilla Door Poem by Chester Maynes

Vanilla Door

Sweet, but something
Is wrong
Blood, it flows
Extremely as these
Wounds
Won’t stop

I walked barefoot
On some barren floors
Punishment is surreal
The scourge of hell
Is damnation
To everyone

Opportunities in ample time
Like a vanilla door
Those melting particles
Are melting no more
Changes occur
Changes kill
