Strange last day
Tuesday evening
Whispers of faint smiles depleting
Flowering memories
Of times now gone
Vanishing in relations’ weeps
The murky waters
Death’s fluid streamlined surface
Wretched underlying currents
Engrossed by snares of salty droplets
These last memories
They drip
As I stand in sorrow’s wake
