Vanity Taking Over Poem by aidaceleste urrutia portes suarez

Vanity Taking Over

Please do not ask me AGAIN!
How we eat an elephant.
Because if you can, I don't!
Never did, never has! Never will.
Just to hear the question...
Gross me out! Why abuse
Those wonderful animals?
Elephants are vegetarians- you know!
But yes! I do understand your point.
DON'T TRY TO DO MORE...More
Than we can physically do. Thanks!

But 'if we have enough faith...
We could move mountains.'
But the problem with us is...
We all are going to have- always...
Our insecurities and self-doubts.
But with all this against us...
Already I had accomplish a lot!
So I am not a complete failure.
The thing is we are so ambitious!
We always want to do more.
Have more and experience more.

And for what? To brag and boast?
Oh well perhaps not everyone does it,
And that is another reality. But over all
Yes! We are incurable self-fish and vain.
Our vanity always take over.
