'Veil Of Illusions' Poem by Sayyed Roshan Shafique Ahmed

'Veil Of Illusions'

Mirrors speak, yet lips stay mute,
Truth wears a mask, dressed in a suit.
Shadows chase where light once lay,
Yet the sun forgets the games it plays.

Paths unfold, yet lead to none,
A race we run, yet are never done.
Eyes wide open, yet blind to see,
For the caged bird thinks it's free.
