I listen…
to the call of my heart—
What does it say
in these whispers of silence?
The wheel of life
repeats a hidden secret
in winter's breath, so cold and clear.
Is there an unseen voice
that calls my name?
I clothe
those unspoken gestures
in the robes of words—
I mold them into verse,
for if I did not,
these moments,
these fragile inspirations,
would vanish in the fog of time.
When the unseen message descends
upon the tip of my testifying finger—
a luminous pen
is lit upon the screen.
It writes
only what descends in silence,
as a command
from the Tablet of Eternity—
a decree from the Commander
beyond the veil of veils.
And when the sacred hands
unfold the pages
of the Preserved Tablet—
then are inscribed these words,
these verses of light,
in the voice of my witnessing soul.
