Very First Snow Poem by Hailey Webber

Very First Snow

Crawling out of a den,
After a long nights sleep,
Streching and yawning,
Showing long sharp teeth,
Four tiny cubs follow her out,
So fragile and young,
Looking around with newly opened eyes,
Finding out somethings different,
What could it possibly be,
Brother winter came to their land,
As they slept last night,
He brought with him something new,
It's cold, wet and covers everything as far as the eye can see,
It color is pure white just like alphas coat,
Its the first snow of the season,
The cubs very first one,
Jumping and playing,
As mother looks on,
But all to soon the day is done,
The sun is gone,
Howling proudly at the moon,
Hoping the next day will come soon.
