Very Smart Poem by James Asher

Very Smart

Whilst in the bath,
Have a scrub.
All your dirt
In the tub,
Now you’re clean,
Can’t you tell?
Have a sniff,
Can’t you smell?
Cleaned your teeth,
Used a brush?
Took your time
Didn’t rush.
They’ll stay white;
For a while.
You can tell;
When you smile.
Brushed your hair;
Used a comb?
Time for work;
Leave your home.
Off you go,
Work to start.
Nice and clean
Very smart! !
