Vicarious Poem by Anthony Wells

Vicarious

Reaching out from the folds
Unless you walked on the moon

We may as well be in the same room

Pondering the same depths here

Wandering by the cold stares

Everything shared in a single heart's boom

Reaching out from the folds
Of their existence into the new
Embrace of the future with promise
And love throughout...
Clinging to the warmth inside

Of his wounds

Into the cold embrace of the room

Riddled throughout

She was delivered into blooming

Fields of green's spilled colors
