Violence Wears A Silken Cow's Ear Poem by Romella Kitchens

Violence Wears A Silken Cow's Ear

Moaning, grief stricken cows of sorrow/

Their off-spring sent spindle leg young and
new
off to the slaughter/

Milk drained like bloody blood from
THEIR bodies/

This is the pastoral, peaceful rural/

The beatific " Country' poets praise
so apt, virginal, GOLDEN.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
