Virgin's Journey Poem by breanna givens

Virgin's Journey

We lay on thick cotton just above heaven,
The moon keeps us company as the world whispers a light melody,
Wrapped in each other’s hands we embrace while our hearts softly knock against our chest,
With only our eyes we tell each other of our love,
Displaying a light smirk, I give assurance that it is time,
Silently hands moving from all directions sensually free us of our garments,
Raw and pure only for one second before inserted,
And love poured over our bodies just before the passion over took us
And love wrapped its arms around me
It had ended all too soon with a seductive “I love you” and a kiss to my forehead,
As the sun peeked curiously in our eyes, I smiled and mumbled to myself
“I’m Blessed”
