Void Poem by Anonymous Ghurl

Void

A permanent line on a soluble sheet
My bitter words that had once been sweet
The thoughts and the echos that dwell in my mind
The sunlight I wish for when it's darkness I find
The language I speak yet I don't understand
The void that I feel when I reach for your hand
The edge that I hold as it starts to give way
The feeling of hope with the words that you say
The hurt that I have when I look in your eyes
And realize what you've said are really just lies
My stain-glass wishes have all been destroyed
And I'm left with these fragments and a widening void
