Vowed Strength Poem by Gautam Sen

Vowed Strength

This carriage waits a happy journey on
To fulfill your joyous trip to the hill,
All cheerful hearts just settle down thereon
For this summer to fill with fun and thrill.

Parents' blissful face with sunbeams of glee
Causing children more euphoric and alive
On the way to a paradise valley.
Let this vacation be holy to thrive.

My heavy heart felt some missing leaves of life,
You my children, how long will you be barred?
Why did you loose your Mom, your Dad his wife?
I'll try; I won't let your life be so marred.

Assembly of merriment now differs.
You feel defaced with an awful mismatch,
One ditch of black in life caused you fluster
I know you're abused by God's deadly snatch.

Let's move out of it with force of pleasure
I'll place you 'midst flora and fauna
Let's shout to claim a jubilant leisure
To fight with the lightning of your trauma.
