Waging Flame Of A Lover's War Poem by Adam M Snow

Waging Flame Of A Lover's War

My love I told you once before,
of this life and waging war.
But if my life should come to pass,
our memories should forever last.
I say it only once again,
'I shall not fear the foe of men.'
But if I cannot grasp our love,
our morning star shall fall above.
I shall not live but live again.
I shall love you till the very end.
But if our end were sure to come,
my heart is yours, as I lay numb.
