Be Still Beating Heart - Poem by Adam M. Snow

your pounding intrudes me.
It fills me with pains;
I ache with sorrow of thee.
You tell me to love,
but why do you break thee?
If it's not meant to be, then why?
Why don't you let me see?

    Thjs conversation with your heart asking why it lets you love when you may not be loved in return makes a very very beautiful poem.Your way with words is fantastic.Be still my beating heart indeed well done (Report) Reply
