Wait Poem by Procyon Mukherjee

Wait

Come, take this step with me
Get up, there is a wish
You must hear, Wait
Can you see now the green flies
No torches please,
The dots have a story to tell
Arpeggios Or in the agitato,
That Sinding is crafting

The D Flat Major, rising to the F Minor
Only to return but then to the G Minor
Waiting for you,
The Spring is receding
Hesitatingly, this moment
Between two Minors, Wait
Did you keep the accompaniment
On your right hand

The mind is not always
Rightly, stopping to let a passing moment
A refuge, the tempo is building
For no reason, but you can see
With no light, no search
The inside of a creation
Burning to coldness,
No need to fire now,
Wait

Wait
