Wait, Poem by Liyo Denorte

Wait,

lemme just catch you
grab a coffee or a beer
then swipe on sodium lighted street

wait,
do u have just a sec
all i am asking
is not another moment
of solitude

yet again i faltered
stumbling while running
chasing the idea
of loving you
then again i faltered
always been asking
to be bruised
all over again
was i that silly?
or was i that freaky?
tagging myself on
the shadow of you
