Wait For Me Poem by Cheyne Gallego

Wait For Me

If I should take the longer road,
Let's meet exactly where we ought.
If it should take a longer time,
I'll hold on to your picture in my mind.

If I should wake up to a little more tomorrows,
then I'll fight to wake up everyday.
If I should pay the price with waiting,
then I'll wait for the purchase I have made.

If I need to go through this,
I'll try to grow through these.
If we should have to slow down and delay,
I'll just look forward to get to you someday.

If I should, I will.
But darling dreams,
Please wait for me.
