Wait... Give Me Five Minutes Poem by White Rose

Wait... Give Me Five Minutes

Day by day
month to the other month
year to another years
to come
It has been this far
But my memories of us
It is still alive
My hope of you
still there
But i finally realize
you want me to erase
the memory of having you
as my friend
i will try for you
but let me try to remember you
in five minutes for the last time
before i erase all
when we were young
when my heart was beaten fast
walk with you
went to the restaurant
laughing for the funny things together
worked hard together
to fulfill the dateline
although i am a sensitive girl
but you and i never fought
with your childish smile
and my smile
we both were very young
to understand
the world might so cruel
for us
short moments we have
never been easy to erase
while i was afraid to ride with you
i hug you from the back and pray
you will drive me home safely
sometime it is embarrasing
to tell you that
i have another feeling for you
a feeling that has to stop
and let the friendship alive
but.. now everything
i should stop
i will erase those memories
slowly.. until no more
if i forget to say thank you
i might say thank you
for coming in to my life
