First Amongst Fools

Waiting - Poem by First Amongst Fools

I lose the time I can't spend with you
Another day gone
The minutes tick away
Second by second

The only consolation
The time is less
Until I will see you again
By accident

Or intention
Or at the place my body rests
The countdown has begun
and I can't stop waiting.
