Waiting Poem by Modina Akter

Waiting

With two cups of tea in front of me,
I think she will come really soon.

The shadow of waiting fatigue in the eyes, she will come and sit next to me after overcoming the restlessness in my mind.
Will say the tea is cold
I will say with a smile
I will bring you another tea.
With the color of your light smile
I will wait for you all my life.
I suddenly look back
if you are coming.

Suddenly I wonder if you think I'm a fool.

Anyway, my heart is waiting for your spring breeze.
Won't you come to be mine?
My breath is getting heavy waiting for you.
Won't you really come?
The dark clouds in the mind will fall down as rain.

With the drunken wind of anticipation and the untimely rain
I am looking towards that door, maybe you will come.
But you don't come...
