Do you remember the time, when we were
Nothing, but little kittens? Unable to say
Our age. Nor the address. Yet already
Knowing how to kiss each other. And to laugh afterwards.
I still remember your lisp. And lips.
Although you would never recognise me
In the crowd. And I would never tell you
About the first true love of my life.
And I would never tell you either what I felt
While touching your hair, seeing you play.
I was still much shorter than Napoleon.
But you were already as beautiful as always.
And now, I cannot even stare at you
Not even stop for a second.
After long years the world has changed.
And we play completely different games.
Your children do not resemble me.
Ladies I meet are not you.
It is raining. I bless this bus shelter. Without it,
We would never stay so close to each other... again.
