Waiting Part 1 Poem by alex manson

Waiting Part 1

tonight ijust walked around
in the cold where i stay
outside i tred on the sacred ground
wishing for a new day.
it was night
and all i could think of was my wait
patience lives in the light
i'm left in this darkness, hoping for fate.
days pass me by
but none of them are new
it's the same old things with a different disguise
in these boring days, i am watching you.
while i walked
on that bare ground
i had a thought
i'm comabound.
stuck in a whiteness
full of nothing and no one
i reach for lightness
but at the same time i run.
i watched you
from a far off, from far away
you're always so shiny and new
i wait to know you, i wait everyday.
i walked away
from the light
because it haunted me in grey
i care not for what is right.
