Waiting, Waiting, Waiting Poem by Michelle Dickson

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

Waiting, waiting, waiting
thats all I ever do
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Im waiting here for you

I have no idea
who Im waiting for
Im just hoping
they'll walk through my door

Waiting, waiting, waiting
Im tired, can't you see?
Waiting, waiting, waiting
will you ever come for me?

I have my doubts
about why Im here
Im tired of waiting, living
won't you come here?

Waiting, waiting, waiting
Im gone now, its too late
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Theres nothing left of me after the wake.

Im gone now
I can't wait forever
I've waited for years
but you won't ever come near now.
