Walk Away Poem by Yolanda Wel

My soul is weakened by lies you kept bribing me with,
My voice no longer heard by the dying love in your eyes
Where is it you fade away to when the day is all but gone
Where is your heart now if not with me it no longer belongs.
I've been shaken by the devil way before you came along.
I've gotten alot right in my life, but I've got 2x that wrong.
I dont want resentment spilling from your lungs in hopes all will be forgiven only after the song is sung.
We could have changed our course of things if honesty was used
But now the past has come to light and I'm feeling quite abused.
The love you made me work for, someone else can do.
I will never work for that again not even when it comes to you.
