Walking Out Poem by Jared Bukowski

Walking Out

walking out
waving hello
to all those souls
who didn't know

to all the girls
who kissed these lips
and marred my back
and felt these hips

to all the friends
who never thought
and never guessed
and weren't taught

to my own parents
who didn't see
and never heard
and 'couldn't be'

i wave
maybe farewell
to all those souls
who couldn't tell
