Walls Poem by Joy Powell

Walls

come tumbling down...
stripped bare
standing before you..
a child a woman
reaching for your love...
hearing your heart
against your chest....
feeling the warmth
as your arms surround me...
I melt as we kiss...
waiting so long for this
words mean nothing now...
only the heat between us...
