Walter Poem by Tessa Marsland Pettigrove

Walter

Pop 1/8/2008
I sit in this room,
As though everything is gloom.
I listen to what others say,
As things fade away.
I think of you dearly,
As things turn deeply.
I believe that I can be true,
Everyday that I miss you.
I see the way you look at me,
As though the way you glee.
I’ve seen the way you smile,
It makes me smile if it’s just for a while.
I hear the rain,
And I feel your pain.
I cry at night,
As though nothing is right.
I feel down,
But I know you are around.
I miss the way you look,
As Nan can cook.
I see things that are wrong everyday,
But I hope that everything will be okay.
I can’t help thinking about you,
Through the day and night that I miss you.
I don’t want to believe that you are gone,
But I know my love for you will always be this strong.
I am upset,
And have been depressed.
I feel like this world has gone,
But my feelings will always be this strong.
I Love You Pop,
Love From Tess (The mop top)
May you rest in Peace.
