Azubuike Justin

Wanton Harvest - Poem by Azubuike Justin

on a tempest crest,
crushed by the heavy hand of grief,
Nature laments this wanton harvest:
smoky muzzles for sickles,
gory grains in graceless graves;
alas, the Apocalypse is birth.
