Grief Expired Retired Not Poem by Terence George Craddock

sometimes there is no expiration date on grief
the expiration date on grief is like an elastic band
the grief sudden intense stretches like an elastic band

in time the elastic band expanded
stretched can slowly begin to contract
or tsunami grief explosive intense

can snap a broken rubber band
time heals not all truama wounds
is there an expiration date on grief?
