Animosity of anger and pain
Seep through the spectral lands
Souls call helpless from the sidelines
Begging for this ageless ruthlessness to end
Fearful of the morrow’s reflection
In war’s wasteland with all hope obliterated

Tides rage as emotion takes its turn
Battling the logistics of this world
Eternal enemies
A war with no spectators only sidelines
On this hidden battlefield covered by icy eyes
Tossing driving heart and mind
To shatter all the precious pieces of hope
My soul demanding peace
Loss transforms into an every day game
Stricken by grief and guilt of loneliness
In this malicious place praying for fantasies embrace
