War With Self Poem by Rob Spiering

War With Self

Letting the leafs fall
I can not change.
A shoulder to cry on,
just another lie,

I spend my life running with time,
Playing catch with my emotions in my mind,
Injecting happiness into my life,
laying on a bed of independence,

Be seduced by the power of healing words,
I walk in slow motion with my life behind.
When I proffit I will all ways lose,

My mind will travel, my body will not,
I ask you now judge me or not,
Five minutes from now you will be forgot.
