Warmth Poem by Melissa Joy Chesky

Warmth

I want to enfold
myself in the
sheets of your
voice;
the warmth engulfing
my frame
and your breath
cascading across my
skin;
the tenor whispering
silent secrets
into my ear-
all the things
I've wanted to
hear.
