Warzone - Poem by James Darwin Smith II

The zone that I am in
Is the battle deceit wins
As I search for answers
Upon the cloudy skies of sorrow enhanced

Hopelessly in banter
Passed up by recent encounters
Who am I but that guy?
The one who always gives it my all

I love and love but why?
Such a sucker I am for trying
Never the one redundantly hurting others by lying
No constant motion upon destroying hearts
But does that make me the bad guy? Why must I even ask?

Am I ugly or not?
Be real with me
Not that I think so
I rather think I can do better
Than those who look past me as being invisible

Are you scared for not understanding?
Demanding the best for your worst
While bragging how great your dreams are
To the world gifting you bags of vomit
The certain love you think only should exist?

These words will only hurt the guilty ones
Pleading for denial, for blind eyes for them to taunt themselves to

Yet, those with a conscience should understand
That love should never be paraded by ignorance
To only be relevant in the state of shallow make- believe, No

Have you seen my beauty all from within?
Do you really think that is what "ugly" people say?
Well consider yourself the plague
Thus I shall never walk your dreadful way
For the air you breathe is the vilest air of them all

The zone I am in
Is on the outside looking in
In these walls of safety
Protection away from you

Sorry I am not the right kind of guy
Yet, I find solace in that
I am more spirit than flesh
But I am not the ghost that will haunt you
You do that perfectly to yourself,

Oh, How I was all up inside your sorry excuse for a head
Did you really think you were up in mine?

This is a dedication to the broken hearted
Those who have been hurt too many times
By not turning into something else rather than themselves
In the brink of a chaotic confusion
A whirlwind of vast deception

Ode to sarcastic winds
The Karma fuelled force
That blows them all away into oblivion
Into the fire they build to burn into their own egotistical dismay

Never cry for a sociopath
For they want to make you pay for their own self demise

The zone you may be in
Is set to never be won
Just be yourself
Never let everyone but yourself have all the fun

You were never ugly
Nor was I
Just imagine how disgusting they look
From the horrid illusion they live in, their horrid confines

Never let the worst of worst win
They only want to better themselves
by making you worse than they could ever be

They are the ones who hold themselves prisoner
While you are the one who is truly free

They only wanted to friend zone you so they can smile
while they watch you cry

I wanted to help you feel better
So I took it upon myself to feel your heart's demise

Smile you are beautiful
Next time you cry I want to see you smile with smiling cries

I love you, all will be just fine!

Let us create a gigantic zone
One that will help those in need to identify

Even if others may ignore us
We can always help those like us always get on by

We are in an endless zone of love
Our love for others will always multiply

You know what? You exist, So Do I
We are truly loved by warm hearted intentions

So do me a huge favor
Love, laugh, Smile and then with rejoice, cry!
Never let those who do harm
ever taste the tears of your beautiful eyes

The zone we are in is full of victory
They will always lose, we will always win

Believe in yourself
Dreams are created for character
No matter how hard life gets
The best of moments will eventually be near and dear

The zone we are in
Is beyond the years

Eternal love
Together, we are always here

Never fear,
Together in spirit, we are always here

Nothing will ever destroy us ever again!
I love you, my sacred love, my beautiful friend
