Was I Ever There? Poem by grace simcoe

Was I Ever There?

They'll never know it's gone,
until the day appears, the pills on the floor and the blood that you fear,
the sight that you notice, once it's all too late
and the inevitable death that had always been my fate,
i didn't choose this route, i didn't ask for pain,
the stranger you lost is what you'll never gain
and before you leave and scream, in their hearts leave a little hole
to everyone that's loved you that will miss you're very soul.
