Was My Love To You A Crime? Poem by Ala' Elouri

Was My Love To You A Crime?

Give me a lot of those painkillers
Oh wait they are too much
Can't you see hurt by you makes me want to disappear alternaty;
It hurts me to care for you
Even though you literary ignore me
I try to act blind
Like I have a veil on these eyes
But I can't let in my pain and keep those tears in my eyes.
Its a disappointment
To make time for you
As well as sacrifice life itself for you
While you just turn your back and go
Do what you got to do
Like there was no existence for me and you...
How can you forget; the years you tried to gain this heart to love you?
Why deny?
We lost each other one night
Why lose each other once another time? !
Is my existence and presence a synonym to you?
It hurts.
To care for you all that time
And these eyes don't catch a glance of sleep all night
Just thinking of you and I
thinking of the consequences I payed for loving you.
Why?
I'm innocent.
All I did was LOVE you.
Was that ever a unmerciful crime?
