Wash Me - Poem by La Tonya Davis

Lord, show me worlds of wonder;
and seeds of innocence,
fill me from head to toe,
let me overflow with your presance,
put issues in my head to ponder.

My life as I know it is a blessing in disquise,
constantly having me aware of time
that could quickly pass me by.

Open my eyes to the reality of your love
that pours on my head and never makes
me wonder why

The beauty I see keeps me grateful to be alive
You've shown me ways to accept who I was
and who I am

My heart, my spirit
outside-inner
cleanse me Lord
mend my ways so that heaven I will enter.
