Wata, wata, lawd we want wata
people in the street, boy you nuh see it
placard in a hand, bucket on the sand
them a sing and them a chant, wata, wata lawd we need wata

pipe in a yaad wata we nuh have
bucket, bath pan and drum, empty a ground
drought pon the land, water we nuh have
justice, justice lawd we want justice

wata, wata lawd we need wata
NWC how yuh fi dweet, high wata rate
yet we you nuh rate
wata, wata we need WATA! ! ! !
