Watch As My Life Fades Away Poem by Dillon Crawford

Watch As My Life Fades Away

I put my life in, Heart and soul.
I ask for naught,
Unless I really need it.
For I know
the only thing worse then not trying
Is trying and being told no.
So I sit on the ground
And watch, as my life fades away

The pain was hard at first
but time after time it seems to decline
For my soul has been punched,
but I will just grow back stronger.
My heart has been ripped
but it always grows back,
But this, this will be that one scab.
That one scab you just cant help but pick.
Just as its healed, you come tear it open.
Now it will never go away.
So I sit on the ground
And watch as my life fades away.
