Watch & Pray (2)

I see to who the devil’s lied
I see the facts so real
I feel Christ’s love and truth inside
The pangs He too must feel

Above the world I’m flying high
But suffering comes to view
Through Jesus love I start to cry
For all they need is “You”

My heartstrings twist so taught to break
Daily flood tears my soul
Thinking of Satan’s flaming lake
Within the darkest hole

I see the agonies of hell
I hear the sobs of pain
I’ve such a need the world to tell
Of life when born-again

I think of grace, Your selfless love
Your Son who bore the blame
Your promise to reign with Christ above
To all who call His name

Now bearing fruit is my desire
A hundred fold and more
So those yet lost may feel Your Fire
And rise through Heaven’s Door

By grace on me Your Light has dawned
My name is known on high
Yet how my God can man be warned?
Through such a child as I

Anointed Lord, my thoughts must be
With strength my cup pray fill
To set the devil’s captives free
According to Your will.
