Watching Poem by Hillary Unknown

Watching

Watching you walk away
I’m at a loss of things to say
I can’t believe it
As my body urges me to throw a fit
You can’t go now
I don’t know how
I’ll keep going alone
I cry out in a defeated tone
You turn around and stare
And shrug like you don’t care
You keep walking away
Although I shout for you to stay
When you’re a small little dot
I yell “Thanks a lot! ”
I sit down and cry
And yell loudly, “Why? ”
You’re not coming back
I know that for a fact
