Water Poem by Amateur Vagabond

Water

Allusive boat
gets pummeled
Never knowing which way is up
No one at the wheel
It dances to the melody of the waves
Tiny vessel
Battered
The sea is hostile
leaving nothing in its wake
Spying trespassers on the surface
It steals wood and metal
and sailors souls
Never tempt Calypso
